**Summary**
Paragraph is a fast-growing **drinks media company,** and we are seeking a highly motivated **Finance Assistant**. Founded in 1997, Paragraph has a portfolio of publications, events, awards, and websites in the premium drinks markets, and you will be working in a business which has high-quality brands which connect consumers and businesses in the alcoholic drinks industry across the world. Part of this role involves working for a connected company, Rothes Glen, **an exclusive-use castle** in Scotland for whisky connoisseurs and all those who love Scotland.
The role is based in our Norwich office, and we are currently working a hybrid system which gives the flexibility to work from home some of the time after a period of probation.
**Responsibilities**
Reporting to our Finance Director, you will work alongside all departments and it’s essential you are a good team player.
Your will be responsible for all bookkeeping entries of Rothes Glen which include:
- Process all purchase invoices on Xero.
- Process all other expenses on Xero.
- Arrange payment runs and update Xero.
- Reconcile banks including posting all bank transactions on Xero.
- Process sales orders and raise sales invoices on Xero.
- Ensure prompt payment of all debtors, send reminders, and deal with queries.
You will also assist with the sales ledger of Paragraph which will include:

You will assist in all other areas of the finance function as work levels dictate.
**Requirements**:
- Experience of working in an account’s role ideally with Sage or Xero experience
- Strong communication skills
- A can-do attitude, including ability to use initiative to solve problems.
- Flexible to take on any other ad-hoc tasks required.
- You are highly organised, have an eye for detail and take care in your work.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
This is a part-time role of 22.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
Salary £23,000-£24,000 pro-rata (£13,800-£14,400)
