The role, HEATLTH AND SAFETY OFFICER
- To promote and ensure positive health and safety performances across the company.
- To implement a safety management system, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice.
- To instruct and assist all staff in promoting a good health and safety culture.
- Update risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Carry out accident and incident investigations and determine root cause.
- Monitor, review, and update all practices within the company structure.
- Constantly assessing improvements across the organisation.
- Liaise with external services and consultants.

Qualifications/experience,

Essential:
Proven experience in a manufacturing role, other areas will be considered. At least 1 year in a manufacturing environment will be considered.

Health and safety training as a minimum NEBOSH certificate.

Desired:
Membership of a professional body such as IOSH or working towards. Not essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated health and safety professional to progress their career.

Applicants with all levels of experience will be considered.

Salary, obviously depending on experience £28-32k
