The Role

Fiddlers Green Retirement Village, located in Berwick, is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and reliable Village Support Officer on a Casual Basis.

Our residents are independent retirees who have sought the company and safety of living in a community of like-minded individuals with service provided that give them and their families the reassurance that they will be cared for if the need arises.

Reporting the Village Manager, your duties will include:
- Assisting with our colourful village events- Assisting to serve meals & beverages- Responding to resident enquiries- Responding to call outs- Undertaking first aid- Initiating emergency services where required- Basic admin tasks- Conducting welfare checks on residents- Other tasks around the village as directed

Shifts- Casual- Approx. 1+ shift per week- Starting 3:00pm - 9:30pm active shift, then sleepover at the village until 7am

About You- Availability for afternoon/sleepover and weekend shifts.- A current Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain)- Strong customer service skills, with a genuine interest in working with the elderly.- High motivation, with the ability to take initiative in stressful situations.- Experience working within Aged Care, Personal Care or Retirement communities - desirable
