Job Title: Senior Energy Modeller

**Salary**: £50k-£60k

Location: City of London

We are a global engineering and consulting firm that provides innovative solutions to some of the world's most complex challenges. We are seeking a Senior Energy Modeller to join our team of experts who work on cutting-edge projects across the built environment sector.

As a Senior Energy Modeller, you will be responsible for developing and executing complex energy models that evaluate the performance of buildings and their systems. You will work on projects at all stages of the design process, from conceptual design through to construction and post-occupancy evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct energy modelling and analysis for a range of building types, including commercial, institutional, residential, and industrial projects.
- Use industry-standard software to simulate energy performance and identify areas for improvement in building design and systems.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop energy-efficient solutions that meet project goals and client requirements.
- Provide technical guidance to junior energy modellers and support their professional development.
- Present modelling results to clients and project teams in a clear and concise manner.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in energy modelling and sustainable design.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in energy modelling, preferably in a consulting or design firm.
- Extensive knowledge of building energy systems, including HVAC, lighting, and controls.
- Proficiency in industry-standard energy modelling software such as IES, eQuest, or EnergyPlus.
- Experience with building rating systems such as LEED, BREEAM, or WELL.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
