**Job Summary**

To manage the customer-facing administrative tasks for the Clinical Laboratory based in Cambridge, and be responsible for testing logistics. Further, to provide front of house duties for visitors to the Laboratory, and work closely with other customer services personnel and the sales team as required by the business.

**Main Responsibilities and Duties**
- Clinical record keeping duties including scanning, printing and filing of confidential records as required
- Deliver the Clinical Lab Sample Collection kit production
- Liaising with customers regarding confidential clinical information including monitoring, following up and completing requests for information from service users
- Administration and distribution of all diagnostic reports to customers/healthcare professionals, ensuring information regarding delivery targets are disseminated as and where necessary
- Provide sales processing and finance function administration from the point of test request through to support with issuing an invoice, its dispatch and any subsequent queries thereafter
- Provide ad-hoc support across the division during any period of change and increased service provision
- Log and progress any customer complaints. Process all customer queries to conclusion and satisfaction for the customer. This will be done in conjunction with the Clinical Laboratory staff
- Create and run a system to track and handle postal stock, including keeping track of expiry dates
- Organize and administrate courier collections for customers using CCL accounts as required
- Manage all our testing logistics. This will include doing research to find out the most cost-effective logistics provider for the samples, booking pick-ups, being responsible for ensuring the blood samples will be received in the lab and processed within the time-frame, communicating with the lab to ensure samples will be processed within the timeframe if they are delivered out of normal hours, and being responsible for following tracking numbers to ensure drop offs/pick ups have been completed
- Work closely with the sales and laboratory team in a proactive way, taking ownership of the responsibilities above

**Qualifications and experience required**:
**Essential**
- Right to Work in UK
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
- Good time management, being able work independently and use own initiative
- Work as a team member to support and assist colleagues
- Previous administration and logistics experience is essential
- Must be computer literate with good working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Knowledge and or experience of working within the UK healthcare system is desirable

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£26,200.00 per year
