- YOUR ROLEAs a Warehouse Operations Management Degree Apprentice, you will be emersed into a fast-paced multi-user warehousing operation based in Ryton on Dunsmore supporting a well-known customerThis is an opportunity to gain a rounded understanding of how an operational site runs on a daily basis, whilst rotating around different roles and departments to broaden your knowledge and experience, preparing you for your future career in Logistics.WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Throughout your 4-year Degree Apprenticeship you will gain a wealth of knowledge, hands on experience and exposure to all areas of a warehousing operations such as goods in, stock control, change management, quality control, continuous improvement, operational excellence and eventually take on leadership responsibility for a team. All of the experience you gain on the job will play a key part in evidencing your knowledge, skills and behaviors required as part of your degree.As this is a warehousing operation there will be a requirement to work different shift patterns and day in line with your rotation around different teams, therefore you’ll need to be prepared to work a mixture of shifts (earlies/lates/nights) and where applicable some weekends.Choosing a Degree Apprenticeship comes with so many benefits to you, these include:
