I am currently looking to recruit a full time Year 3/4 teacher for a Primary school in Lewes. This is a mixed class with full classroom responsibilites required including planning and prepearation. The school has superb behaviours where your contributionis valued and celebrated. The school are looking for a permanent Teacher starting in **January 2023.**

**This role will be paid to teaching scale.**
- QTS
- Experience working with KS1 / KS2
- Have experience planning and preparing lessons for students of all abilities using various techniques.
- Must have a clear understanding of the KS2 curriculum
- DBS on the update service or willingness to purchase one
- Must be able to support the Catholic ethos of the school and teach RE according to the RE scheme of work

**Other duties and responsibilities**
- Report to Governors and parents as required.
- Attend relevant courses, keep abreast of current educational thinking and keep colleagues informed.
- Develop links with governors, parents, Local Authority and neighbouring schools
- Undertake any professional duties reasonably delegated by the Head Teacher
- Be responsible for safeguarding the health and wellbeing of the pupils.
- The post holder will share the school’s commitment to safeguard, and promote the welfare of, the children in our care.
- To be fully aware of and understand the duties and responsibilities arising from the Children’s Act 2004 and Working Together in relation to child protection and safeguarding children and young people as this applies to the worker’s role within the organisation.
- To ensure that the worker’s line manager is made aware and kept fully informed of any concerns which the worker may have in relation to safeguarding and/or child protection.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
