**Purpose of the role overview**
- Reporting to the Head of Finance this role will consolidate and produce monthly and quarterly group reporting packs in accordance with internal & group reporting deadlines. Also to ensure accurate reporting of all financial information with reconciliations, systems and processes operating effectively

**Accountabilities**
- To produce monthly and quarterly group consolidation including group reporting pack collation and submission.
- To be the main point of contact for all group reporting queries
- Support the quarterly and annual group audit process.
- To become a key contact in the audit process and drive audit efficiency
- Support the Head of finance to ensure a consistent approach to financial policy, procedure, compliance and controls across the group.
- To ensure group accounting policies are documented and regularly reviewed.
- Maintaining up to date governance documentation for the Group
- Understanding, analysing, documenting and testing the business processes, systems and controls.
- Support in all aspects of the month end close
- Review of complex journals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Consolidation and presentation of all group budgets and forecasts
- Preparation exec pack for Portman Travel Group

**Main deliverables**

**Essential**
- Computer literate with experience of Microsoft office.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to follow instructions.
- The ability to work within a team environment to achieve team/department objectives
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Very high attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel - creating and maintaining documents
