Elevation Recruitment are excited to be working with a well established and reputable business based in Horsforth, to help them with the recruitment of an experienced Payroll Assistant, to join their close knit and friendly team on a temporary basis.
This is a temporary rolling contract estimated to last around 2-3 months.
Duties & Responsibilities:

- As the Payroll Assistant you will be primarily responsible for assisting with the
administration and processing of payrolls
- Assisting in the processing of New starters, Leavers and amendments
- To have a basic understanding of PAYE/NIC and statutory payroll legislation
- Issuing P45's
- Processing payroll calculations including manual calculations when required
- Keeping up-to-date with current government legislation
- Processing holiday, sick maternity and paternity leave payments
- Deal with queries from region/branch/senior management
- Be able to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines
- To have a good knowledge of pensions schemes and auto enrolment
- Input all information received from branches and upload into payroll
Elevation Accountancy & Finance are currently looking for individuals with the following skills and experiences:

- Have at least 1-2 years' experience within a busy Payroll environment
- Be highly organised and self-motivated
- Ability to prioritise their own workload
- Have the confidence to communicate at all levels of the organisation
- Must be computer literate and highly numerate
