We’re looking for those of you who are self-motivated, excited by a challenge and ready to make an impact in our business. As part of our Bright Futures Apprenticeship Experience you will join the Insurance Practitioner programme that will drive you to fulfil your potential as an assistant Underwriter.

We’ll encourage the development of your technical decision making and analytical skills to enable you to support our underwriting teams with their portfolio of accounts, financial solutions, and business development activities

**Role Requirements**

In this Apprenticeship role, we’ll support you to:

- Review your allocated cases and make effective underwriting decisions
- Ensure the delivery of good customer outcomes by achieving personal targets
- Support cases and collaborate with your team to deliver an outstanding service to the broker/client
- Provide support on a portfolio of accounts to maximise profitable revenue potential
- Create business development plans that identify new business opportunities
- Implement marketing activities and business development initiatives
- Support technical audits and peer review processes

**The Individual**
We want your individualism, capability, and ambition to shine through. If you have a zest for learning and a willingness to invest time to become a qualified insurance professional, then that’s a real advantage.

You will need: 5 GCSE's including Maths & English at (Grade C or level 4-9) plus 96 UCAS points from A levels or equivalent.
