**Job Title**: Administration Officer POCA (Proceeds of Crime Act) Assistance Unit.

**Salary**: The starting salary is £33,348 which includes allowances totalling £2,841.

The salary is broken down as £30,507 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £32,639 Plus, a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.

**Location**:Vauxhall. The team currently works to a Blended Working Policy, primarily based at Cobalt Square in Vauxhall. The number of days worked in the office is based on the business need and there will be a requirement to travel to other offices within the Met area.

The Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA) Assistance Unit (PAU) within Central Specialist Crime provides essential support to Financial Investigators across the Met. Part of the unit’s responsibility is to ensure our POCA cases are recorded, investigated and resolved as per legislations using internal and external systems and record management. The successful applicant’s primary role will be to ensure compliance, investigate historic cases and provide support to our Investigators.

Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders. The role will also include other ad-hoc duties undertaken by the team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Arrange and deliver training sessions for Financial Investigators.
- Review internal and external systems to ensure data is compliant.
- Review historic records to establish if cases have been recorded as per policy.
- Liaise with Financial Investigators regarding compliance queries.
- Maintain and update policies.
- Undertake regular audits of systems in relation to user accounts and ongoing cases.
- Review data from multiple sources to identify non-compliance.
- Liaise with partner agencies to retrieve information relating to Met cases and work with partners to resolve ongoing cases,
- Conduct User Acceptance Testing for internal and external systems.
- Produce Performance Data and Information Packs for Management Board.
- Provide secretariat support for management meetings.
- Other Ad-Hoc duties as and when required to support the team and the Met.

**Vetting**

This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis. Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) level before taking up the post; with a willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) once in post, if required._ _

Additionally, this material is of particular sensitivity to the UK and its distribution must be restricted to UK nationals. In approved circumstances dual nationals (of which one element is British) may also be granted access. However, in the event that potential conflicts of interest cannot be managed the post holder will not be able to see the intelligence material and will not be able to perform their duties. For the purpose of safeguarding national security and in line with Cabinet Office Policy, supported by Section 82(2) to (4) of the Police Reform Act (2002), applicants who do not hold or acquire Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) **OR** Developed Vetting (DV) clearance and meet the nationality requirements cannot be offered the post.
