Catering Assistant - Amesbury

We are looking for catering assistants for a retail site, based in Amesbury.. If you are local, reliable and a fast worker then this is perfect for you

Key Information:

- Salary: £11.50 p/h
- Location: Amesbury
- Flexible Hours, any 5 days out of 7 which will include weekends on a rota basis

Key Responsibilities of the role include:

- Undertake a variety of tasks such as food preparation, cooking, clearing, pot washing, hot plate serving, till operation, deli counter, cleaning, vending replenishment
- Ensure the delivery of a professional service at all times
- Ensure preparation on and presentation of all food to the required food and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with COSSH and all food safety; ensure adherence to all health and safety compliance
- Ensure compliance with all company administration and monitoring procedures:

- Recording of food temperatures
- Delivery records
- Recording of fridge & freezer temperatures
- Food storage and labelling in accordance with guidelines
- Daily administration of bookwork including

In order to be successful, you'll need to have:

- Experience in catering or within a hospitality environment
- Ability to deliver wide range of catering tasks
- Good communication skills & and ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to think quickly and work in a business and demanding environment
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Food safety, COSSH, health and safety, food allergen knowledge would be an advantage.
