We are looking for a HSE Advisor to support our offshore Wind farms clustered together in our Grimsby Hub.

**Your future plans**
- The HSE Advisor is responsible for providing independent, expert and professional
advice and guidance to the site on all health, safety and environmental issues.
- Actively participate and drive the site and business high standards of proactive and continual improvement We Care ethos, including initiatives in behavioural safety, wellbeing and sustainability to ensure the businesses has a positive impact on its people.
- Engage and develop relationships with operational teams to eliminate and reduce risks, develop HSE culture on site and adherence to HSE standards and rules.
- Maintenance of, audit and review of site HSE management systems to ensure compliance with legal and business requirements.
- Carrying out regular workplace inspections on and offshore
- Liaising with internal and external departments to ensure contractors are suitably selected, engaged and monitored for health, safety and environmental performance.
- Produce, review and update health, safety and environment related documentation required by the allocated offshore operations site designated and for UK as directed by Head of HSE Offshore Operations UK & CE or required by the HSE function.
- Proactively support and advise line/project management in meeting their HSE
responsibility (incl. but not limited to risk assessments) with technical, organisational and procedural as well as compliance advice.
- Contribute towards and deliver on annual key performance indicators, goals and targets for the site and wider business.
- Planning, running and recording feedback on emergency response drills
- Cooperate with line management and where applicable Joint Ventures (JV) board members to develop and implement measures and solutions to address HSE
challenges.
- Planning, steering and follow-up of HSE activities at operational level in coordination with the global HSE management of RWE Offshore Wind.
- Attend meetings, site visits and technology reviews with sub-contractors & clients in relation to offshore operations as directed by the Head of HSE Offshore Operations and/or Team Lead HSE Offshore Operations, United Kingdom (UK).

**Your profile**
- NEBOSH Certificate, ideally working towards a NEBOSH Diploma.
- IEMA Foundation Certificate in Environmental Management.
- They will ideally hold an audit qualification such as ISO 45001/14001 internal auditor.
- Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining a certifiable HSE Management System.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels through verbal and written communication including active listening skills.
- Prior experience as HSE professional, preferably in Offshore Wind.
- Experience in behavioural safety techniques and delivering behavioural safety training would be desirable.
- Be able to demonstrate a flexible, practical and proactive approach to managing operational HSE challenges.
- To have effective organisational skills, reliable, systematic, proactive and pragmatic approach. Able to work under pressure, team-oriented.
- Ability to act with sensitivity and discretion, respecting confidentiality at all times.
- The individual will be expected to regularly work on the Service Operations Vessel which will include offshore overnight stays.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Good health, with general all round fitness to work in an offshore environment is a requirement for the role.

Full UK driving licence is essential.
