Bar Attendant

**Job Summary**

We are looking for fun, professional, flexible and reliable bartenders to join our events team based at The Award Winning Countryside Wedding & Events Venue Upton Barn & Walled Garden. As bartender, you will be the face of our company serving customers at our events to the highest standard. You will work within a structured events team including bartenders, bar support, supervisors and managers.

We have a variety of day/evening shifts available (Monday through to Saturday) to coincide with Wedding bookings including late evenings (until 1.00am).

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Striving to be the best and creating a unique experience for our guests every time.
- Greeting every guest with a smile, ensuring their every need is anticipated and delivered during their visit
- Preparing and serving drinks to an excellent standard.
- To recommend and up-sell premium products where possible, you must be eager to learn about the products we stock.
- Preparing and serving drinks to the highest standard
- General bar duties including prepping fruit/ice/stocking up of bars etc.
- Preparing reception, wedding breakfast and toast drinks when applicable.
- Collecting glasses and washing/polishing them when necessary.
- Keeping the bar clean and tidy during service.
- Closing down and assisting Event Coordinators with take down duties at end of night
- Preparation for future events.
- Dealing with payments for card transactions
- Maintaining standards of cleanliness & hygiene in the bars, toilets and garden areas, emptying ashtrays, cleaning tables and washing glasses

- Have some previous bar and/or hospitality experience.

Hours per week can range from 6 to 30 to suit, depending on our event schedule; flexibility will be key to managing your hours with us.
