Warehouse Assistant (Denton)

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for overseeing all daily warehouse tasks and ensuring that areas are clean and tidy.

Role Objectives:

- Ensure all departments are clean, premises are kept tidy, organised and safe for all users and make sure that the grey zones (common areas) are clean too.

This role is responsible to drive for any deliveries and pick ups according to the Operations department daily schedule.
- Its essential for the role of the warehouse assistant to maintain his time occupied and be flexible with new tasks. Also a ‘can do’ attitude is essential for this role.
- Proactivity is important and communication with the Warehouse Manager and the Construction coordinator is important.
- Day to day loading and unloading is required.

Prepare products for loading, wrapping and assist construction when required.
- Due to the nature of the business the warehouse assistant may assist in project installations from time to time and may be assigned to do some warehouse maintenance.

Before a new product leaves the premises, the warehouse assistant needs to take all the information needed for the specific product and notify the Current software operator for the update of our database.
*

Ensure the new products coming out of construction are at high quality

Warehouse Assistant will support the warehouse and distribution function of the organisation to help prepare products to be shipped to customers. The role will also involve handling and processing returns.

**Knowledge, Skills & Experience: -**
- Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail.
- Flexible and willing to take on a variety of different tasks.
- Reliable and dependable to complete tasks as instructed.
- Good literacy and numeracy (including IT literacy)
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £8.18-£11.64 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
