Position: Site Security Supervisor

Location: Cambridge, CB21

Working Hours: Average of 56 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 3 days, 3 nights, 3 days off

Hourly Pay: £15.40 per hour

Role Overview: As a Site Security Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our community within a state-of-the-art environment. You’ll be based in Cambridge, serving workplaces, homes, open spaces, shops, and restaurants. **Role Overview**:
As a Site Security Supervisor, you play an integral role in ensuring the safety and security of a designated area, facility, or site. Your responsibilities involve overseeing the daily operations of security personnel, ensuring that all security measures are consistently implemented and adhered to.

**Key Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring Security Equipment: Regularly inspect and maintain security equipment such as CCTV cameras, alarm systems, and access control points.
- Ensure proper functioning and promptly address any issues.
- Supervising Security Staff: Manage a team of security guards.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to security personnel.
- Foster a positive work environment and encourage teamwork.
- Incident Documentation and Reporting: Assemble and document abnormal occurrences on the job site.
- Write detailed incident reports.
- Gather intelligence related to security incidents.
- Emergency Response and Crisis Management: Respond promptly to call-outs and address critical security issues.
- Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services when necessary.
- Implement emergency protocols to neutralize threats.
- Community Engagement and Partnerships: Build strong relationships with local residents, businesses, and other stakeholders.
- Welcome and greet visitors, ensuring proper accountability at all times.
- Collaborate with external security operations centres and loss prevention departments.
- Record Keeping and Data Management: Maintain detailed records related to security operations.
- Utilize computer programs for data gathering and storage.
- Work with technical staff to secure computer data.
