**Duties and responsibilities include**:
1. Keeping the hotel and grounds clean and tidy.

3. Fixing any maintenance issues which can be resolved immediately.

4. Advising the manager of any major maintenance issues and deciding upon subsequent action.

5. Regularly check if the emergency lighting is working and complete the log accordingly.

6. Monitoring the boiler rooms and arranging service and maintenance call-outs via the manager.

7. Monitoring the water softener and arranging servicing and maintenance call-outs, via the manager.

8. Liaise with service contractors for plant and machinery as required, via the manager.

9. Regularly check the hotel for any Health & Safety issues.

10. Support manager regarding responsibility for statutory compliance.

12. Perform all minor electrical repairs.

13. Replace all light bulbs.

14. Repair all plumbing matters.

15. Perform all minor carpentry works.

16. Oversee the window cleaning - bi-monthly.

17. Legionella testing as per legislation.

18. Fire alarm testing - ensure logged accordingly.

19. Arranging via he manager for fixed wire testing.

20. Arranging via the manager PAT testing.

21. Arrange via the manager for the fire alarm servicing and fire extinguishers service.

22. You will also contribute to recommendations for larger scale project work, as well as support smaller projects in-house.

23. Any tests/works carried out by contractors need to be reported and any decisions where purchases are involved need to be informed.

24. Stock purchases related to department need to be informed well in advance.

25. Update tools inventory with location list to be handed over on a monthly basis.

26. All areas after completion of work need to be kept clean and tools & equipment need to be place back in the rightful location.

27. Inspection of rooms after departures and before arrivals.

Contract: 16hrs (2 days a week) and overtime available

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.00-£13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
