IT Support Analyst required for a well-established, leading organisation with offices based in Stoke-on-Trent. You will be required to provide support, guidance, and technical expertise when resolving 3rd line tickets alongside the IT support team. In additionto this, you will be responsible for the deployment of robust, flexible, technical solutions across the business.

**This role is hybrid so you will have the opportunity to work from home 3 days/ week.**

**Key responsibilities include**:

- To respond to 3rd line incidents in a timely fashion operating within SLA's, ensuring adherence to all service management processes.
- Acting as a bridge, as the internal technical lead to help steer the 3rd party partners to an Azure cloud native architecture.
- Analyse and make recommendations to improve Azure infrastructure, network, and reliability of systems.
- Hands-on technical depth enables direct oversight, problem-solving skills, and participation in complex infrastructure implementation, system upgrades, and operational troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices.
- Responsible for capacity planning and proposing the required resources to existing various (Azure) virtual infrastructure such as optimisation activities.
- Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security.
- Responsible for system and data backups restores and DR tests, taking ownership of data integrity enabling DR processes and business continuity.
- Mentor and coach colleagues and provide peer-to-peer learning, as required.

**Key skills required**:

- At least 5 years' experience in a 3rd line IT support role, as well as experience developing cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of administering and supporting Azure AD, Azure IaaS/PaaS.
- Proficient in Windows Server /2012/2016/2019+.
- Experience with Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GPO) and SQL Server.
- Ability to manage and develop InTune services and policies.
- Experience managing backup/recovery solutions (Veeam & Azure Backup).
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language (e.g., PowerShell).
- Strong customer service experience with exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
