Purchase Ledger Clerk

Inclusive Consulting are excited to be partnering with a successful property construction business based in Chesterfield who are are currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them on an initial contract basis of 4 - 6 months.
You will be joining a hard-working and sociable team within a company that value their employees and offer a rewarding working environment for ambitious individuals.
A background in the construction industry is not essential for this position, but any relevant experience to this field would be beneficial especially any experience of using COINS software.
The role requires the individual to manage the transactional nature of this position, work and liaise with regional buyers and external suppliers, on top of the input and filing of Purchase Ledger invoices.
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Invoice processing to a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Reconciliation of supplier statements
- Identification of account issues and undertake their prompt resolution
- Deal with supplier and business queries in a positive and timely manner
- Resolving, blocking and crediting items on the ledger as required
- Proactively assist with other sites and across the group on Accounts Payable processing to ensure our team works collaboratively and as one team.
- Ad Hoc requests as required by the wider finance team
**Requirements**:
- Previous Accounts Payable experience
- Ability to work in a team
- Ability to use own initiative and work independently
- A good degree of accuracy and numeric skills
- Ability to work in a timely manner in order to work to deadlines
- Good Microsoft office skills
On offer is a competitive salary of c£23,500pa + great benefits

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£23,500.00 per year
