YOUR ROLE

As a Customs Degree Apprentice, you will be emersed into a world class Customs Gateway Department, supporting our automotive customers in Felixstowe.

This is an opportunity to gain a rounded understanding of the day to day running of the customs operation, whilst rotating around roles and departments to broaden your knowledge and experience, preparing you for your future career.

Due to the nature of the role and how we run our operation, at some point you may be required to work earlies, lates and sometimes nights.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Throughout your 4 year degree apprenticeship you will gain knowledge, hands on experience and exposure to compliance, imports, exports, ecommerce and customer service alongside your studies. You will also get the opportunity to understand how the wider business links with customs through knowledge of our Air and Ocean operations.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for an individual who is driven, hungry to learn and self-motivated who can work alone or as part of a team and is ready to take on a new challenge We are also keen on bringing someone into the role who has a genuine interest and desire to work within the logistics industry.

In order to be accepted onto the apprenticeship, you must have achieved a minimum of 2 GCSE’s grade C/4 or above in Maths and English and have a minimum of 3 A Levels.
