Supervisor with Progression

Summary of Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Leadership - Setting goals for the work group, developing and coaching how we work together: Demonstrates a calm demeanour during periods of high volume or unusual events and manages smooth transitions thereafter to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the store team.
- Displays a "customer comes first" attitude by training and holding the store team accountable for delivering world class customer service.
- Drives the implementation of company programs by motivating and instructing the store team to implement them to meet operational and organisational objectives.
- Manages with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Starbucks plans, identifies, communicates, and delegates appropriate responsibilities to store partners to ensure smooth flow of operations.
- Providing partners with coaching, feedback, and development opportunities and help build an effective team.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.
- Available to work flexible hours that may include a total of 40 or more hours per week.
- Two or more years of experience in a role that requires frequent interaction with customers, fulfilling the requests of customers and responsibility for addressing customer issues, questions and suggestions.
- One or more years of management experience, defined as follows: - Direct supervision over two or more employees.
- Responsibility for training and developing teams.
- Responsibility over inventory management, other budget or sales target.
- Responsibility for managing labour costs.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to manage store operations independently.
- Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to manage multiple situations simultaneously.
- Ability to manage resources ensuring established service levels are achieved at all times. Interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of customer service techniques.
- Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
- Organisation and planning skills.
- Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Team-building skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to coach and mentor others.
- Ability to plan and prioritise workload.
