**1st Line IT Support Technician**
Our client is looking for a 1st Line IT Support Technician in Basingstoke, and the role comes with a salary of up to £15,000. This is a full-time role that comes with a favourable benefits package. Travel is required, and remote working can be discussed.
Our client designs and builds network infrastructures and provide IT support services to small and medium companies across the UK. They use a range of technologies from Microsoft, Webroot, VMware, TP-Link Ubiquiti, and HP to name a few. As they continueto grow as a company, they are looking to expand their internal staff count. They are looking for someone to join their small helpdesk team.
If you were already in this IT support role, here are some of the areas you would have been working in this week:
- Diagnosing, troubleshooting, obtaining information and providing solutions for a good range of technical problems
- Passing unresolvable issues to senior colleagues.
- Knowledge of Office365, Administration/Setup and Active Directory
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019 and Network troubleshooting - DNS/TCP-IP/DHCP
- Familiarity with basic network troubleshooting, including setting up WIFI hotspots, diagnosing speed and broadband issues, replacing routers, creating network cables.

Holiday / on-call update:
- 20 days plus bank holidays
