Salary and benefits: £85,000 - £110,000 plus 30% bonus up to 60%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

We have an outstanding opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Senior ALM With-Profits Actuary on a 6 months fixed term contract to join our With-Profits Management team.

The role

As a Senior ALM Actuary, you will oversee a team of three and enjoy a broad role using your skills and knowledge to provide support to the Head of With-Profits ALM. You will take ownership of the with-profits hedging practices and support the team in managing the investment risks in the 22 Phoenix WP funds to pre-specified targets and tolerances. You will review proposed hedging rebalances to ensure that they meet the With-Profits hedging policy practices and support this through governance.

**What are we looking for?**

You are likely to be a qualified actuary with a good understanding of the different instruments used to hedge market risks. You will be capable of making and influencing decisions around plans and priorities and you will be able to communicate complex ideas in a succinct manner to a variety of different audiences including the With-Profit Committee.
