Legal Administrator

**The role**
We are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Legal Administrator to join our busy team based in our Liverpool city centre office. Assisting our legal teams, you'll be instrumental in the day to day running of the office as well as supporting with legal administration tasks for our Commercial Property and Litigation departments. A natural organiser with strong communication skills you will provide solid support to our lawyers, and to our clients. This is a busy and varied role with tasks including:
- All administration duties such as dealing with incoming and outgoing post, photocopying, filing and scanning
- Ordering copy documents and title from Land Registry
- Submitting Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and making payments to HMRC
- Collating ID documents for clients
- Ordering Property Searches
- Ordering Land Registry searches
- Checking client and Solicitor bank details
- Organising payments to third parties as required on client matters
- Submitting registrations to Land Registry and tracking the same
- Keeping data bases up to day and diarising key dates
- Diary management and organising remote / in person appointments.
- Acting as first point of contact for clients visiting the office
- Checking of legal documents to ensure accuracy
- Archiving of legal documents
- Preparing court bundles
- Updating the case management system with all appropriate documents and notes
- Preparing and formatting legal and management reports
- Supporting the wider teams with general administration
- Maintaining stationery stocks
- Ensuring our service standards are delivered consistently and proactively every client, every time
**What we're looking for**
We’re looking for someone who ideally has previous legal administration experience but if you are a competent administrator with experience in professional services and a genuine interest in law, we’d love to talk to you.
You’ll be a capable, highly organised and efficient administrator and a fantastic communicator. You will be able to juggle multiple tasks and have a good eye for small details. IT skills/ case management experience are important too. We are looking for a team player with a ‘can do’ approach.
