A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Greenkeeping team at Wakefield Golf Club.

**General**

Established in 1891, Wakefield is among the oldest private members clubs in Yorkshire. Visitors and members and their guests are always assured of a friendly welcome.

The course is a challenging Par 72, easy walking layout comprising two loops of 9 holes both of which start and finish at the clubhouse. It is maintained to a very high standard which is ideal for, and popular with visitors and societies, many of whom make regular return visits.

**The Role**

We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated full time **Assistant Greenkeeper** to join our team. Our team is responsible for maintaining 18 holes of golf.
- Punctuality.
- Hardworking, friendly attitude.
- 40 hour working week with flexibility to include weekend working on a rota basis.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience.
- Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification.
- Knowledge in the use of greenkeeping equipment.
- A team player with attention to detail.
- Be able to communicate effectively within the team.
- Ability to problem solve and make effective decisions.
- Construction experience preferred but not essential.
- Have a focus to continual personal development.
- A full UK driving license.
