Assistant Greenkeeper

Waterton Park is a private members' club in Walton, Wakefield. The club was established in 1995, with an 18-hole course and extensive practice facilities.

To complement our existing team, we are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced Assistant Greenkeeper / Deputy Head Greenkeeper with the following attributes:

- A high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to carry out multiple tasks.
- Hard working, with a good attitude.
- A flexible approach to working as some early starts and weekend work is required.
- A thorough understanding and knowledge of greenkeeping principles and practices.
- Competent in the use and maintenance of a wide variety of machinery.

**The following qualifications are essential**:

- Experience as a greenkeeper with an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Sports Turf Maintenance.
- Driving Licence

**The following are desirable but not essential**:

- Chainsaw certificates in felling and cross-cutting.
- Irrigation maintenance, repair, and use.
- Spraying Certificates PA1, PA2 and PA6.
