Open to all, powered by Samsung’s connected innovation. The spaces will neither look, nor feel like traditional stores (or SIS) but should celebrate the possibilities of our technology. It will focus on the customer experience - not just the product - to tap into people’s passions and tell our story in ways that connect emotionally with consumers. These spaces will be the embodiment of “One Samsung” and will bring all product categories under one roof for customers to explore.

The focus is to lead Samsung’s Retail strategy, by introducing new initiatives that communicate the benefits of our products to our current and future consumers’ lives. Our team is on a mission to transform physical retail and introduce omnishopper solutions that improve the customer journey.

Role and Responsibilities- Create more engaging retail environments for Samsung in the UK & Ireland, considering HQ guidelines, which elevate our brand and drive greater consideration and purchase amongst shoppers.- Build strong relationships internally with our divisional retail teams and externally with channel partners to drive adoption of in-store improvements initiatives across the marketplace.- Work closely with the One Samsung Retail Design and Retail & Service Ops leaders to co-ordinate improvement initiatives at KX, Selfridges and Harrods, and ensure best practices are developed and deployed across other channels.- Direct a retail improvement plan for our top stores in our top channel partners - working with our retail design team (+agency) to develop a clear visual identity for the Samsung brand across categories and other merchandising improvements to better align with HQ guidelines and drive MDE (where applicable).- Work with our central and divisional retail teams to align and coordinate improvement efforts in the top channel partner stores, helping secure internal/external support for execution.- Build a framework to identify, monitor, and analyse critical retail trends, metrics & data points to enhance our retail operations.- Set up sessions with HQ and EO, and landlord & channel partners, to discuss retail innovation opportunities and garner support for pilots.- Close alignment with the management team to ensure all projects are delivered in line with the business objectives and timelines.- Develop concise and consolidated strategic reports for senior management, VP and above, to promote the strategy and project plans.

Skills and Qualifications

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- Proven experience leading retail environments, including new store developments and visual merchandising- Experience in developing new, creative retail programmes and services- Experience in developing and testing new propositions with a data-driven approach.- A strong understanding of retail management metrics- Strong end-to-end project management experience- Tenacious problem solver - creative solutions within short timeframes- A pragmatic hands-on leader, with the ability of prioritising multiple projects at once and delivering through ‘non-reporting’ teams/individuals- Excellent communicator with the ability to build positive relationships and effectively communicate across partner groups- Strong analytical and numerical skills

What does success look like?- Successful implementation of the SEUK retail strategy and tactics across channels- Consistent retail execution across product divisions based on HQ guidelines and local adaptation- Delivered a best-in-class shopper experience in the major offline stores
