Edward Mellor Financial Services are recruiting for our busy Mortgage Administration team. This is a hybrid role with 3 days based in our Head Office at St. Petersgate, Stockport and 2 days from home. Our Mortgage Administrators play a vital role in providing both the Advisers and, more importantly, the clients with the support and information they require. The role and responsibilities involve:
- Attend morning meetings to review and discuss daily activities, set objectives for the day, update Colleagues.
- Identify additional opportunities to recommend other services such as Buildings and Contents, Pension review etc.
- Assist the Mortgage Adviser daily with any administrative tasks, ensuring all compliance is met
- Contact Providers, Solicitors, Estate Agents to ensure smooth progression of Client cases
- To be first point of contact for Clients and Providers and ensure regular outbound calls are made to our Clients to update them on the progress of their Application
- Take Arrangement Fees from Clients on completion and send relevant paperwork and receipts
- To use and update our Financial Software to accurately record our Clients’ data after every Client interaction
- To monitor and prioritise daily tasks and workload so that individual targets are met
- To keep related spreadsheets, our Financial Software and Housing Software updated
- To attend training and refresher sessions
- Take part in One-to-Ones and Appraisals and contribute to your personal learning and development

Required skills and experience:

- Excellent Numeracy and Literacy (Minimum of GCSE passes or equivalent in Maths and English)
- Computer Literate Passionate Customer Service
- Confident Telephone Manner
- Excellent Time Management
- Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
- Flexible working attitude
- Detailed Approach to all tasks especially in regards to administration and compliance
