**Acoustic Consultant, North West**

Professional Consult is a respected and growing environmental consultancy based in Manchester & Leeds serving a UK-wide client base across various sectors in the development arena. We now have an exciting position for an Acoustic Consultant in a permanent and full-time capacity.

Our Acoustic Consultant will undertake noise and vibration surveys across the UK, complete detailed technical assessments and provide support to clients in the residential, commercial and energy sectors.
- A minimum of a 2:1 gained in acoustics or a strong science degree;
- Ideally AMIOA or MIOA qualified;
- A minimum of 1 year experience in acoustic consultancy;
- Strong experience of using CadnaA noise modelling software;
- Experience with guidance documents BS8233, BS4142, ProPG, BB93 and AVO;
- Experience in building acoustics would be advantageous;
- A full driving license currently valid in the UK (or EU equivalent) and access to a vehicle;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail; and
- Willingness to travel across the UK and occasionally outside of normal office hours.

Remuneration will be discussed at interview and will reflect the importance we attach to finding and retaining the right team members.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
