Talent Torch is a leading environmental consultancy firm that specializes in providing expert advice to clients in the field of acoustics.

This is a hybrid working role with travel required to attend client meetings, project sites, and business development events as needed.

The Senior Acoustic Consultant will be responsible for managing and delivering acoustic projects, providing expert advice to clients, and mentoring junior staff.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both environmental and building acoustics, along with strong technical, analytical, and project management skills.

  • Lead and manage acoustic projects from inception to completion.
  • Conduct environmental noise and vibration assessments, including noise monitoring and predictive modeling.
  • Perform building acoustics assessments, including sound insulation testing, room acoustics, and building services noise control.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Provide expert witness services in planning appeals and public inquiries.
  • A degree in Acoustics, Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental and building acoustics principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using acoustic modeling software.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to project sites as required.
