**About Cambridge Fibre Network**

Cambridge Fibre Networks Ltd (CFN) is a new entrant (2016) to the telecoms market and provides full fibre services using owned asset-based infrastructure for a. business and residential broadband and b. commercial telecom services including dark fibre and ethernet. The network infrastructure is built using own construction and Openreach’s Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA).

**The Job**
You will be liaising externally with our community and internally with all departments of the company. This role is the very face of Cambridge Fibre on the ground. Here you will engage and inform the communities of brand-new Gigabit broadband projects, implementing ideas and assisting with implementation of the Gigabit Voucher scheme across Cambridgeshire and beyond.

The Community Liaison Executive engages the community starting with customer awareness activity before and during, network build, ensuring communities, individuals and stakeholders have a voice to feedback on any questions, issues or queries through the correct channels in Cambridge Fibre.

This is an exciting time to join Cambridge Fibre. In just one year we have doubled our customer base and are now getting ready to introduce brand new projects and engage new communities. This exciting role does not stop there, you will continue to support and maintain open communication channels between your colleagues and communities throughout.

**Key activities**
- Enthusiastically prepare communities for Cambridge Fibres' arrival
- Innovating new potential marketing strategies within the business.
- Liaise with Parish Councillors and communities where Cambridge Fibre plan to build
- Develop and identify key contacts in communities
- Liaise with the Network planners to provide monthly progress reports to our customers
- Attend Parish Council meetings as needed to represent our brand.
- Identify local and key events in communities where Cambridge Fibre could appropriately spotlight its products
- Scheduling customer appointments and arranging engineer visits
- Managing customer expectations regarding engineer arrivals etc
- Be an evangelist and represent Cambridge Fibre in the best possible light
- Helping your colleagues achieve their objectives

**Your skills and qualifications**
- Previous Customer Facing role - preferred
- Effective time management and great organising skills
- Excels in team work
- Comfortable working alone where required
- Presenting and speaking in a crowd
- Clean & Full Driving licence
- An agile thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Flexible with working hours - Occasional weekends required
