Payroll Administrator

**Location**: Hybrid/Northampton - Office based 2-3 days a week

**Salary**:£27,000 - £30,000 pro rata (DOE)

**Hours**: 30 spread over 5 days. Possibility of moving to full time

A key member of the People Team, responsible for administering and processing accurate and timely pay and benefits and providing support and understanding to our team members across the business.

**Daily tasks include**:

- Support the Payroll Manager in all aspects of the payroll and associated tasks
- Take responsibility for understanding, and working on the full employee life payroll cycle
- Undertake projects that support the Payroll Manager in constantly improving Payroll practices.
- Ensure that all payroll tasks and deadlines are met in line with payroll process and protocols
- Have a good understanding of payroll practices, such as pro rated pay, and base calculations.
- Process starters and leavers and issue relevant paperwork, ie. P45’s.
- Support the administration and management of the Payroll Inbox by providing resolutions to pay queries from across the Staysure Group.
- Support Payroll surgeries to support our team members in their understanding of their pay and benefits.
- Work collaboratively across the People Team to ensure the best Employee Experience for all our Team Members.
- Collate relevant pay information required for the smooth running of our payrolls, such as overtime and bonus reports.

**Key skills**

CIPP Certificate (desirable)

Strong Excel skills (Pivot table - VLook up)

Previous payroll experience of processing payroll start to finish

PAYE Legislation Experience
