The Role:
Accountable for goods in Warehouse & Yard area

Remuneration & Hours:

- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- 0900-1730 with 30-minute unpaid break
- 28 days holiday entitlement, including bank holidays
- Pension Scheme.
- Medicash Health Scheme.
- Salary dependant on experience

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out multiple daily warehouse checks.
- Deal with returns and damages in line with procedure.
- Checking all returns and follow through process in line with procedure.
- Check all inbound freight daily for damages / oversized freight.
- Liaise closely with traffic desk & warehouse colleagues as required throughout day.
- Keep returns / damages tent and warehouse clear.
- Update systems and relevant personnel in line with procedure.
- Trailer checks daily and as required.
- To promote best practice in maintaining high levels of Customer Service
- You must comply with all health and safety rules and regulations regarding the
- Report any accidents / incidents to 1st Line Manager
- You must comply with and promote all health and safety rules and regulations regarding the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by your acts or omissions.
- Promote Wm. Armstrong in line with current company values, beliefs and branding.
- Undertake such other duties that are required from time to time commensurate with this position.

Skills/Knowledge
- Previous experience of working in a fast-paced warehouse / transport environment essential
- Able to work under pressure
- Must be proficient in using Microsoft packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)Good telephone manner
- Good communication Skills
- Good attention to detail
