Production Operative

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
Pay: £10.50 per hour
Duties will include:

- Dispense ink in line with the daily production plan(s)
- Move product to & from machine(s) if applicable
- Book back press returns into the dispense management system
- Place press returns in clearly marked locations
- Re-work press returns where possible
- Cluster press returns into common running colours
- Place a weekly material order using the order form provided
- File all delivery notes for month end consignment stock count
- Book new deliveries into the dispense management system
- Replenish material stocks on dispense management system
- Arrange uplift of any empty containers or waste ink, ensuring containers are safely palletised and lids are secured
Support ink blender and ink production through the following:

- Observe all customer and H&S rules and polices
- Ensure ink area complies with customers hygiene accreditation
- Maintain dispensing equipment and working area with good housekeeping techniques
Ideal background, skills and experience:

- You must have good colour vision and an eye for detail
- You must have excellent communication skills and be capable of performing their daily duties without direct supervision
- You must be able to work under pressure and demonstrate value activity to the customer
- IT skills are essential as are good problem solving skills
- You must be methodical and tidy in their work
