**Main Duties**
If you are passionate about helping improve the environment and want to work in a rapidly developing field, then this could be your dream job.
Be aware of up-to-date developments and factual evidence in climate change and provide appropriate advice on that to the Programme Manager and Climate Change Response Board.
Be alive to Welsh Government, Westminster and international policies in the field reporting so that the Board needs to on key issues that may have been relevant to their field;
Assist the Programme Manager in providing advice and guidance on how to meet the requirements within the climate change field.
Work together with elected members, officials at all levels and stakes holders in various fields to assist them in meeting the requirements in the field.
Lead on work streams within the Climate and Nature Emergency Plan acting as manager on individual projects on demand.
Analyze documents/information identifying or recommending steps for response.
Prepare and report to various audiences.
Deliver training.
Support and harmonise departments' efforts to ensure they deliver part of the climate change response Plan projects most effectively highlighting duplication when existing
Support the implementation of the communications plan attached to the Climate and Nature Emergency Plan.
Represent the council at any regional or sub-regional overview meetings relating to climate change and report back to the Board as required;
Be responsible for coordinating Board meeting arrangements.
