The successful appointee will work under the current Chief Executive for the initial year as CEO Designate, taking over as Chief Executive Officer in the summer of 2025.

**SALARY**: £100,300 - £119,045 per annum for the initial year, moving into year two to £115,034 - £138,630 pr annum + Benefits

**LOCATION**: Based in Harrow, North West London - supporting a family of schools (eight Primary, two Secondary, two all-through and one in pre-opening) across the country in London, Leicester, Bristol, Hertfordshire, Somerset and Exeter

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a CEO / Chief Executive Officer with experience working with faith providers of education and faith schools and the ability to communicate a vision of outstanding teaching and learning through inspiration and empowerment.

Working as the CEO / Chief Executive Officer you will be responsible for the unique education of all children and young people in the Trusts’ academies, embodying and promoting the ethos and values of a spiritually focused Trust that includes the only Hindu faith schools in the country.

As the CEO / Chief Executive Officer you will be an outstanding educational strategic leader working in a fantastic environment. The Trust exists to help each person become a well-rounded human being through intellectual, moral and spiritual growth, and so make the world a better place.

DUTIES

Your duties and responsibilities as CEO / Chief Executive Officer will include:
Work collaboratively with the Trust Board, recognising and enabling the strategic focus of the Board, and have a mutually supportive relationship with the Chair of the Trust

Ensure that academies in the Trust benefit from high quality operational support and are enabled to flourish educationally and spiritually

Lead the Executive Team, ensuring the Trust and all its academies are successful over time in a sustainable way

Provide high level reflective strategic leadership and ensure robust management across Trust and academy activities

Ensure rigorous accountability with a relentless focus on the experience and educational outcomes of all children across the academies

Ensure the effective and efficient use of resources and people

Be the Accounting Officer for the Trust, responsible for ensuring the Trust meets its statutory and legal requirements

As a system leader, the CEO represents the Trust with a wide range of stakeholders and partners and enables it to fulfil its civic responsibilities

Be an influential education thought leader who can promote the unique qualities of the Trust

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Experience working with faith providers of education and faith schools

Substantial knowledge of and engagement with Hindu communities

Evidence of national impact and contribution to the UK education system

Ability to communicate a vision of outstanding teaching and learning through inspiration and empowerment

Experience working within a multi-academy trust environment
