**Job Title**: Consultant-Residential Business

**Location**: Birmingham

**Job Description Summary**:
The role is focused on over-the-phone sales, business development and lead generation, sourcing potential clients for JLL.

You will work for the UK JLL business, within a telephone-based team, based in Birmingham but handling leads, and enquiries focused on the whole of the UK. This role has more sales element than customer service, so the desired combination of skills and mindset are essential in executing the job function.

**The role serves two functions**:
**Inbound leads**: you will answer property enquiries on behalf of multiple departments within JLL and have the responsibility to qualify those leads to the extent specified by the relevant department, load them onto the appropriate CRM system, and pass them over.

You will also receive digital leads on behalf of multiple departments, with the responsibility of qualifying them before passing them over as appropriate.

**Outbound business development**: you will call through existing, but dormant data, with the objective of re-qualifying those customers and generating business.

You will have to pro-actively farm this large database. This part of the role will be commission-based, so you should be a motivated salesperson.

**You will be targeted on two things**:
Primarily, the answering of all inbound calls, and appropriate qualification and distribution.
Secondarily, the amount of business that comes from your outbound pro-active sales work.

**Responsibilities**:
**Answering inbound calls on behalf of multiple JLL departments**: Establishing the nature of the call
Qualifying the caller to the extent defined by the relevant department
Establishing the key information points from the caller
Loading that caller and all information onto CRM software, and
Passing the lead on to the relevant department.

**Qualifying digital leads**: Qualifying the lead to the extent defined by the relevant department

Passing the lead on to the relevant department.

**Outbound telephone sales**: Call through database of previous JLL property owners, tenants, previous applicants and buyers in order to generate appraisals, viewings and deals

**Requirements**:
Positive, proactive attitude. Highly resilient.
Hard working.
Experience of telephone-based contact centre work is required.
Strong sales skills are required. Experience of telephone-based sales work is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A high degree of integrity, suitable to the JLL brand, is required.
Experience within the property industry is desirable, but not required.
Experience in hospitality, recruitment, telesales and retail are suitable for this role.

Salary package

**Basic pay**: £20,000 while probationary, £22,673.04 thereafter
OTE is £32,000, plus uncapped commissions
