**MC Technical Recruitment** are currently recruiting for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician to join the maintenance department of a biomass CHP power plant in Invergordon. The Multi Skilled Technician will be responsible for the planning and execution of electrical and mechanical maintenance work across the site to ensure minimum downtime.

**Roles and Responsibilities**

**As the Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for**:

- Fault finding, repair work and planned & reactive maintenance on a wide range ofl plant equipment including variable speed drives, motors, PLCs, pumps, valves, gearboxes, conveyors etc.
- Assisting with outage planning and coordination
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records using the CMMS
- Providing technical support to the operations team when required
- Working alongside other Technicians and Engineers with regards to plant projects and upgrades
- Managing contractors when required

This role includes working days and nights on a rotating 12-hour shift pattern

**To be considered for this role you should have**:

- An apprenticeship ideally along with a relevant engineering qualification at ONC/NVQ level 3 ideally in electrical or mechanical engineering
- At least 2 years of post-apprenticeship experience working in a hands-on maintenance or servicing roles across a heavy process or marine industry - power plant, manufacturing, paper mill, steel, petrochemical
- Experience carrying out maintenance and repair work on drives, motors, PLCs, conveyors pumps, valves, gearboxes etc
- Ideally experience managing and directing contractors
- Experience using a CMMS (computerise maintenance management system)
