**About the role**

We are looking for an experienced product marketer, ideally from within the mortgage industry, to help deliver our marketing and commercial goals across our Mortgages business. In this role, they will lead product marketing for LendInvest Mortgages and work with teams across the business; Sales, Marketing, tech and Product, to define our product messaging, Go-to-Market plans and create alignment with key parts of the business. They will work closely with the Head of Marketing, turning marketing plans and strategies into campaigns and initiatives that directly contribute to LendInvest’s commercial objectives. A content or copywriting background would be an advantage. In a fast moving market and business, the Product Marketing lead needs to work in an agile way to drive the team to deliver with an ability to pivot from one product or project to another seamlessly.

**What you will be doing**
- Have an up-to-date and deep understanding of the current product and commercial priorities to tailor comms to meet those needs
- Understand the needs of our customers and help capture and articulate customer value propositions
- Manage two direct reports overseeing their work and alignment with monthly plans - namely those in events and specific distribution marketing
- Create Go-to-Market plans, working collaboratively with key stakeholders and creating content to support those plans and campaigns
- Set acquisition and retention goals, raise awareness of our lending products through multiple channels and produce campaigns and content geared towards supporting customer adoption and repeat business.
- Define use cases, target segments, ideal customer profiles, buyer personas, and value propositions and use them to build sales and marketing communications
- Manage the Marcomms content calendar and deliver a regular flow of product and brand communications
- Help undertake research and source insightful data of our customers using the data or observations to inform content and planning.
- Test and optimise content through establishing experiments and A/B testing
- Continuously measure value and report on content KPIs to show the effectiveness of content against the objectives
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for relevant product communications
- Contribute to the development of new campaign creative projects
- Provide input into the marketing budget planning, reconciliation and forecasting process

**What you’ll have**:

- 4+ years of relevant experience in B2B product marketing or marketing within the mortgage industry
- Proven experience positioning, creating messaging and marketing mortgage products
- An ability to write copy for different audiences.
- You can deliver product launches and create B2B go-to-market strategies.
- You will have a strategic mindset and can-do attitude - the ability to turn ideas into action, manage multiple projects and priorities.
- A self-sufficient work style along with the ability to plan and implement
- An excellent understanding of marketing channels and performance metrics
- An understanding or familiarity with regulatory aspects of marketing financial products
- The ability to lead and manage junior members of the team
- Analytical mindset, with a bias towards marketing measurement and continuous improvement
- You are a strong communicator and team player. You have strong interpersonal skills to achieve alignment between teams
