**Compression Moulding Operative**
**37 Hours per week** Monday to Thursday 7am - 4.45pm 37hr week.

**Job Summary**

Your role within the company will be a moulding/assembly operative, performing tasks associated with the production of moulded Thermoplastic and Thermoset materials used in the manufacture for various industries.

**Essential Functions**:

- Weigh and cut various forms of raw material.
- Hand load raw material into press moulds.
- Operate press.
- Trim and deflash parts using hand tools.
- Complete all paperwork correctly.
- Follow all safety requirements pertaining to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and operation of equipment.
- Maintains workspace before, during, and at the end of each day.
- Follow work order instructions and process sheets.
- Contribute to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as directed by Supervisor.

**Required Qualifications**
- Previous compression moulding experience in a manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is beneficial but not essential
- Basic literacy and math skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in above average temperatures.
- **Maintain high attendance standards.**

**Additional Description**
**Physical Demands include**:

- Bend/Stoop/Kneel/Crouch - Requires use of the lower extremities and back muscles.
- Standing/Walking - Particularly for sustained periods of time.
- Finger/Grasp/Handle/Feel - Working primarily with fingers.
- Working in above ambient temperatures.
- Lifting is a requirement of the role.
- Forklift truck licence would be beneficial but not essential.
- All necessary training will be given, so **a willingness to learn is important.**

Contract length: 1 month

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 37 per week
