Receptionist (Out of Hours)

Available to work the following shifts at our Waterlooville Health Centre Hub.
**Saturday - 1830-22:30 - Late**
**Sunday - 0800-13:30 - Early**
**Flexibility will be required to provide cross-coverage over both hub sites**

Duties include but are not restricted to:
- 1.1. Open hub and set up IT systems and printers for clinical consultations and reception.
1.2. To support all clinical colleagues to ensure equipment boxes are signed in and out and highlight if any items missing to the Hub Site lead.
1.3. Process appointment requests both face to face and over the telephone.
1.4. In a courteous and professional manner, ascertain patients identification details and accurately check against EMIS system.
1.5. File correspondence and information as required.
1.6. Assist in the collection of specific outcome data, i.e., Questionnaires and DNA Audits.
1.7. Ensure there are adequate supplies of non-clinical items e.g., paper and prescription paper, escalate if needed.
1.8. Assist in carrying equipment to clinician upon request. This includes smaller items such as batteries for otoscopes through to emergency equipment such as oxygen, resus bag or defib in a life-threatening situation.
1.9. Ensure safe and secure closure of building at end of working session/day as per local SOP (standard operating procedures).
1.10. Ensure that there is always access to emergency equipment using guidance provided at both induction and local procedures (SOP).
1.11. Ensure documents and correspondence are kept available for sessions, (i.e., items such as accident book/ambulance form/complaints and incident Forms), to ensure full administration support is supplied as and when required.
1.12. Use of the clinical IT system for recording and monitoring of patient information.
1.13. Ensure safekeeping of Healthcare Computing/Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust IT Hardware.
1.15. Administration tasks are undertaken with care and attention to detail.
1.16. Support Operations team as required.
