Schedule:

- Weekend availability is mandatory, and a rotating schedule will be provided for on-call duties.
- Primary working hours are from 9 am to 5 pm (it is essential to have access to a computer during these hours). Mobile phone availability can suffice for tasks outside of this timeframe when necessary.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop efficient transportation plans for contracted routes.
- Coordinate delivery schedules and manage driver assignments.
- Log issues and schedule repairs for the fleet
- Stay updated with transportation regulations and ensure compliance.
- Communicate with customers to understand their transportation requirements.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities to optimise transportation processes.
- Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and generate reports.

**Requirements**:

- Good knowledge of transport and logistics operations
- Basic understanding of Large Goods Vehicles
- Familiarity with working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment and ability to work under pressure.
- Organised with good IT skills.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Patient and well spoken

Successful completion of the probation period (4 months) will lead to a full-time employment offer, with an annual salary of £25,000.
