**Title**: Purchasing Administrator

**Salary**:£18,000 - £22,000 + excellent company benefits

**Location**: Maidenhead, car driver due to location

**Contract type**: Monday - Friday, full-time, permanent position

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a busy environment and who is confident with numbers. Our client's successful business, based on the outskirts of Maidenhead will give you responsibilities in learning all aspects ofthe product, placing orders, and dealing with distributors.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Preparing purchase orders in line with targets and requirements
- Ensuring orders are processed by deadlines to meet production schedule
- Communicating directly with suppliers on a regular basis regarding purchase orders
- Updating purchase orders as required
- Processing returns to vendors
- Building relationships with key providers
- Processing any new supplier approvals
- Researching and evaluating areas of opportunity and cost reductions
- Monitoring market trends, suppliers, and competitor strategies
- Conducting business in line with company policies and procedures

**Skills and Experience**:

- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multi-task
- Commercial and financial awareness
- An understanding of business and system processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Logical and structured thinker with an ability to manage project plans
- Able to manage high workloads with ability to prioritise
- Ability to work using own initiative
- Excellent at building and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
- Able to work under pressure
