Are you a customer service professional looking for a rewarding role? Our client, a leading local authority, is seeking six dedicated and service-focused Revenues Officers to join their team, specialising in Council Tax enquiries. You will play a key role in providing residents with clear and accurate information about Council Tax, billing & recovery, all while delivering exceptional service.

**Rate**: £16.46 per hour (Umbrella)
**Term**: 6 months
**Hours**: Full-time (36 hours per week)

**Responsibilities**:

- Handling inbound calls from residents regarding Council Tax enquiries.
- Explaining Council Tax information clearly and accurately to residents.
- Recording and maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all interactions.
- Escalating complex issues where necessary.
- Assisting with general inquiries as needed.
- Participating in training sessions as required.

**Key Requirements**:
**Essential**:

- Prior experience or knowledge in Council Tax.
- Prior experience in a customer service role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.
- Ability to handle calls professionally and efficiently, demonstrating patience and empathy.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed decisions quickly.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.

**Desirable**:

- Knowledge and experience with Mitel, although this is not essential as training will be provided.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £16.46 per hour
