**Your role at a glance**

You'll be responsible for supporting the Gallagher Benefit Services U.K. marketing strategy. Includes supporting the co-ordination and delivery of campaigns and initiatives with clear and consistent communication, and delivering collateral to aid achievement of business goals with respect to lead generation, client acquisition and retention, greater brand awareness and driving cross-sell opportunities across the GBS business.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Support the Marketing Director and Senior Marketing Manager with the delivery of marketing plans (utilising on-and-offline channels, events/seminars, PR, trade publications, awards, industry commentary, content, collateral, thought-leadership, internal communications and advertising) across business to deliver the marketing strategy
- Building an awareness and understanding of our brand by customers, clients, partners and internal stakeholders, adapting to suit their differing needs.
- Develop, enhance and maintain all supporting collateral/content, online and offline, internal and external, across all parts of the business
- Engage, collaborate with and update stakeholders regularly on the development and delivery of marketing plans/campaigns
- Support with analysis and reporting of current and completed marketing activities
- Support the project management/delivery of Group Marketing related initiatives/projects for GBS U.K
- Take all reasonable steps and carry out duties to ensure that the part of the business for which you are accountable for, demonstrably complies with applicable laws, rules, regulation, good governance and Gallagher’s shared values, including putting clients at the heart of our business
- Uphold and champion Gallagher brand guidelines and standards

**Qualifications, experience and attributes**:
Essential:

- One or more year related marketing work experience required
- Good knowledge and understanding of financial services / employee benefits markets and a regulatory environment
- Compliance knowledge, thorough understanding of compliance risks in relation to the business and marketing practices
- Strong understanding of current digital marketing concepts and best practice
- Experience in drafting and maintaining documents, brochures, flyers, technical updates
- Works collaboratively with other teams/business areas to achieve mutual goals
- Ability to take responsibility for own projects and to meet tight deadlines
- Effective use of IT, including Outlook, Excel, relevant internal systems and databases
- Knowledge of SEO and website content management
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative

**Desirable**:

- CIM/IDM qualification in Marketing
- CRM system (Salesforce) experience
