We are an award winning Financial Services company based in Fleet seeking an IT Manager to join our existing IT team, reporting into the IT and Servicing Director. The business has expanded during 2021 and as we continue to grow, we can offer the opportunityto join our Head Office in Fleet working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm with WFH available too. In return, you will receive a salary of up to £65K, plus 25 days’ holidays, non-contributory pension, private healthcare, life assurance and income protection.

This is an opportunity to continue building an IT support team in a fast-growing company. With a remit covering service desk, network management, internal software systems, hardware procurement/asset management, security solutions, standards compliance,employee training and more - this is a broad and hugely exciting opportunity
- Supervise IT support technician’s, including setting schedules, implementing training, and assessing their performance.
- Produce and monitor SLA’s. Produce ad-hoc reports to Senior Management as requested.
- Coordinate and oversee end user IT support via Fresh Desk.
- Observe and nurture a culture of cyber security awareness.
- Produce and execute biweekly Phishing simulations using Microsoft Defender.
- Oversee Telephony system and manage end user support requests with support for third party supplier.
- Observe and help maintain IT Operational Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain relationships with key service suppliers and technology vendors.
- Manage system administration and oversee daily quality checks.
- Assist in managing IT change control and maintain documentation.
- Facilitate the provision of equipment, training, and orientation for technology users.
- Troubleshoot and where appropriate arrange repair or replacement of IT equipment
- Oversees the return and decommissioning of hardware.
- Manage the upgrade and replacement of enterprise software and operating systems.
- Maintain internal networks, VMware, including patching.
- Manage access controls, end point security and permissions to excess of 130 users.
- Ensure efficient and effective technology and Internet access to meet department SLA’s.
- Manage inventory and status of hardware and software throughout the organisation
- Works collaboratively with the IT Director and other IT Managers to develops emergency plans for equipment, power, or security failure to preserve technology and data.
- Works with human resources department to identify and recruit IT support technicians.
- Stays up to date regarding new IT equipment and solutions and ensures that information is disseminated to wider IT department.

To be successful as our new IT Manager, you should ideally have the following:

- Minimum 2 years’ line management experience at a supervisory, team leader or manager level
- Minimum ITIL V3 Foundation or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, **
or
**minimum 5-years’ hands on experience working in IT Support.
