Maternity Self-referral Coordinator

An opportunity has arisen to join the maternity team at MTW in an important role which supports the communication between pregnant women and the maternity department.
You will be self-motivated, but enjoy working in a team and will have excellent computer skills and be quick to learn new systems and processes.
The Maternity Self-Referral Co-ordinator is responsible for the administration of referrals which are made directly by women via the trust website. The referrals are passed on to the relevant midwifery teams, women's details are updated or registered on the trust patient administration system and the electronic maternity system.
The post-holder works with the Community Midwifery Liaison Officers, supporting their role and deputising when required. They also support the project team to implement women's access to their electronic records.

Tunbridge Wells Hospital opened in 2011 and provides single rooms with en-suites for all in-patients - the first of its kind in the country.
