Self Employed Driving Instructor

Job Overview:We are seeking a skilled and patient Driving Instructor to join our team in providing high-quality driving lessons to learners. As a Driving Instructor, you will play a vital role in teaching safe driving practices and helping individuals become confident and competent drivers.

Duties:

- Conduct driving lessons for learners of varying skill levels
- Instruct on road safety rules, defensive driving techniques, and vehicle handling
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their driving skills
- Prepare learners for their driving tests
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and lesson plans
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment in the vehicle

Qualifications:

- Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) qualification or DVSA accreditation
- Excellent communication skills and patience
- Strong knowledge of the Highway Code and driving regulations
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles
- Clean driving licence with no more than X penalty points
- Prior experience as a Driving Instructor is advantageous
- A passion for road safety and teaching others the skills of safe driving
