We have an exciting new opportunity for a Fleet Operations Officer to join our client in London.

As a Fleet Operations Officer you will look after our clients’ vessels commercial requirements ensuring they are carried out by liaising with various internal and external stakeholders and third parties. As a Fleet Operations Officer you will ensure the company’s vessels are operated according to international regulations, complying with company policies and commercial operations procedures.

This is an exciting role with opportunity to join a friendly, energetic team of highly skilled, experienced maritime professionals passionate about shipping.

**THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT**- University graduate or higher diploma or equivalent qualifications.-
- Background in shipping studies or relevant experience.-
- Fluent in spoken and written English.-
- Good computer skills including use of MS Office.-
- Resident in and eligible to work in the UK.**JOB DESCRIPTION**- Provide support and assistance to masters for commercial matters, monitoring cargo planning, confirming loading plans and cargo handling.-
- Ensure that fixture instruction, CP, and recap details are forwarded to all concerned parties and maintained through the CP; provide documentation and assistance to the Freight & Hire collection operation, including all commercial disputes and claims from the charterers.-
- Identify security risks associated with and preparing the vessel for the voyage.-
- Arrange the issue and distribution of instructions and advice on safety, cargo, port information, safe navigation, etc., in the form of circular letters in cooperation with the QHSE Manager and QHSE Superintendents.-
- To monitor the vessels’ position reports, passage routings and voyage progress.-
- To make port agency appointments, arrange funds to cover port disbursements, and track and monitor the circulation of port agency disbursement accounts to facilitate final settlements.-
- Cooperate with the other departments to optimise all Company Vessels’ activities.-
- Monitor and analyse daily voyage performance, including speed and consumption, weather routing, etc.**REMUNERATION PACKAGE ON OFFER**
