**Shop Volunteer ** (this is an unpaid role)

Oxfam shops exist to raise funds for their goal of overcoming poverty and suffering. Oxfam's network of over 650 shops is run by 23,000 volunteers and shop managers. Through the sale of donated goods and new products the shops contribute millions of pounds each year to help fund Oxfam's crucial work.

We need volunteers for a wide range of tasks. You can special with a particular department or help with whatever needs doing.

**For example...**
- Customer service on the till
- Sorting and pricing clothing or other donations
- Moving donations and keeping storage areas tidy
- Health and safety checks
- Administrative tasks
- and many other tasks

**What will you get out of it**?

**Skills needed**
- Working within a team of other volunteers
- Following policy and procedure
- Ability to follow instructions
- Honesty and reliability
- Speaking Welsh an advantage

Volunteer shifts are arranged according to your own availability. While we encourage a minimum of a half day per week, this is not compulsory.
